How God Gave Birth To A Son Without A Wife – Biblical & Quran Analysis
Gospeller, Deep Thinker, #1 Bestselling author of Facts Versus Fiction: The True Story of the Jonathan Years. Avid traveler and Hollywood Magazine Film Festival Humanitarian of the Year, 2019 Reno Omokri has dissected and explained how God gave birth to Jesus Christ even though God had no wife.
This analysis was made in response to a question from a young Muslim who asked him ‘How can God have a son when He has no wife? You Christians are deceived.”
In making the post, he revealed he have to hide his identity, to protect him from some overzealous Christians, but he definitely gave answer to his question which will be beneficial to lot of people. Below is his answer.
I have read the Quran and know that it rejects the Sonship of Christ in Quran 6:101, which in Arabic says:
And when translated to English, says:
“He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have a son when He has had no mate? And He has created everything and He has full knowledge of all things.”
Let me ask the young man this question, who is the Father of Adam?
In Quran 2, beginning from Surah 30, we read about Adam. He had no Earthly Father. So again, let me ask him, who is the Father of Adam?
Obviously God is the Father of Adam. Adam’s genes did not come from any man. We do not know how God did it, but Adam traces his ancestry to no one. He traces his origin to God.
The challenge is that those who do not believe Christ is the Son of God believe that God has to have a “mate” to have a Son.
God is all powerful. He can do anything, God has no Mate at all. He has no wife. As a matter of fact, Christ already taught us that there are no conjugal relationships in heaven-Matthew 22:30. That alone settles the question about mate or wife.
God has no equal. He is God all alone. However, when Scripture says that Christ is the Son of God, we should realise that He was not made a Son due to the normal human processes of recreation.
John 1:14 says “The Word of God became flesh.” This is very important, because John (Yohanan) was Christ best friend.
And even the Quran agrees with John 1:14, in Quran 4:171, which describes Christ as ﻛﻠﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﻞ , which when written in Roman Script is Kalimat Allah, which when translated to English means the Word of Allah, or the Word of God.
Neither the brain of the young man who asked the question, nor my brain, is capable of understanding the spiritual and supernatural processes by which God made His Word flesh.
And it is not necessary for us to understand that process before we can accept it. How many people understand the process of aerodynamics by which a plane flies? Yet, even though we do not comprehend the process, we nevertheless fly in planes, because it is not a requirement for us to understand the process before we can benefit from it.
Similarly, it is not necessary for us to understanding the peculiarities of the process by which Christ is the Son of God, before we accept it.
Islam believes in the Pentateuch (first five Books of Moses). Well, Moses said “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law”-Deuteronomy 29:29.
Let us leave that secret mystery to God. He may or may not tell us when we make it to His Kingdom.
But to Christ followers, that process makes God the Father of the Earthly Christ, not exactly in a similar way as He is the Father of Adam. We do not really understand the process. But nevertheless the Son of God. Scripture actually refers to Christ as the “second” or “last” Adam in 1 Corinthians 15:45.
In fact, there is a popular phrase that is now trendy in Nigeria. I recommend it to everyone. It goes like this: What God cannot do does not exist!
I hope you now understand? May God bless you.
